The Shop on Martha's Vineyard was originally designed to be used as an active workshop to repair wooden sailboats.

Following a total renovation, it now features:
- A modern gourmet kitchen
- 3 comfortable bedrooms
- 2 new bathrooms
- An open concept living area with vaulted ceilings, bar area and a large dining area.
‍

Plus, an amazing new outside shower with a 16" rain fall shower head, plenty of hot water, and a gorgeous modern design of wood/concrete/steel, providing a one-of-a-kind outdoor bathing experience.

This incredible space was initially designed by Chester Wisniewski, an apprentice to Frank Lloyd Wright, professor at Cooper Union for over two decades, and founder of Davis, Brody and Wisniewski (now Davis, Brody, and Bond).

THE GLASSHOUSE.
Glasshouse is a unique architectural composition of glass, metal, and wood set in the stunning woods of Martha's Vineyard.
‍

This beautiful living space blurs the boundaries between outside and inside. The layout is rational and functional to maximize utility and the connection to the exterior landscape.
‍

All of the private bedrooms open to an interior courtyard; this provides the interior circulation path amongst Japanese maple trees and a screened-in private garden. Living occurs simultaneously within the house and amongst nature.

Our newest property, The Studio is an experimental architectural structure located on Martha's Vineyard that offers a one-of-a-kind immersive experience for guests.

Designed to blend seamlessly into its pristine forest setting, The Studio is a modern and unique addition to the existing Glasshouse property.

As an add-on to the Glasshouse rental, The Studio is an ideal choice for anyone seeking a detached office, a writer's studio, or a private bunkroom.

Guests can enjoy the tranquility of the forest surroundings while still having access to all the amenities offered by the Glasshouse.
